A field log for impossible goals
For the goals you’ve no business chasing.
Every impossible goal is climbed one step at a time. Name yours, log the small real steps, and let people climb with you.
01Declare itALT · STEP
Say it out loud.
Name the goal you have no business chasing. Give it a date and watch the countdown, or leave it open-ended. Run a few at once. Most people do.

Proof, one step at a time.
An impossible goal can’t be 37% done, so we don’t pretend. Log what actually happened: a note, a photo, a milestone. The trail builds behind you, and it becomes the best argument that you can do this.

03See it every dayALT · STEP
Keep it in your eyeline.
The home-screen widget puts your goal where you look fifty times a day: the days to go and your latest step. It’s hard to forget a mountain you see every morning.
04Climb togetherALT · STEP
Nobody summits alone.
Co-own a goal with a friend and you both add to the same trail. Then let people in: friends, and strangers chasing the same kind of thing. Every step you log is somewhere for them to cheer.

Field questions
Ask anything.
The questions people ask most, answered. Don’t see yours? Ask it and we’ll answer it here.
Is it free?
Yes. You can chase up to 5 goals at once for free, and every step you log stays yours. Explore, search and following people are free for everyone. Pro is for people running more than five climbs at once: it makes goals unlimited.
Can I share a goal with someone?
Yes. Invite a friend to co-own it and you both log steps to the same trail. Training with your sister, planning a trip with your partner: one goal, two climbers.
Do I have to share my goals publicly?
No. New goals start public, but you choose who sees each one: just you, the supporters you pick for that goal, or anyone. Change it whenever you like, or set your default in Settings.
What if I go quiet for a while?
Nothing breaks. There are no streaks to lose and nothing nags you to come back. Your goal and every step stay where you left them until you’re ready for the next one.
Can I use it on Android?
Impossible Goals is available on iPhone only. There is no Android app, and none is announced.
What if I want goals to be private?
Each goal has its own visibility setting: Private (only members can see it), Supporters (members and supporters see updates), or Public (anyone can see it). You can also make a single update private if you want to keep just that one step to yourself.
What’s a good goal?
A good goal for Impossible Goals is one that feels impossible to you—something that excites and scares you a little. It could be learning a new skill, meeting new people, creating something, or changing a habit. The app is designed to help you break it into small steps, see it every day, and let others witness and support your journey.
